Josh le Roux looking to end season on a high note

The seventh and final round of the 2023 South African GTC Championship will take place at Zwartkops Raceway this weekend (14 October), and Josh Le Roux is looking to end his debut saloon car season on a high note.

The year has certainly been a learning curve for the 2022 South African Investchem Formula 1600 Champion, but Josh has found pace both within himself and in his Audi S3 as the season has progressed. Whilst it has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, Josh is more determined than ever to pursue his motorsport dreams both locally and abroad.

“It has been a challenging year, but I have learnt so much and experienced the most incredible support from my team, family and friends. I have found that consistency and staying out of trouble is key and am happy that my pace has steadily improved every race,” commented Josh.

“My S3 felt really good in Cape Town and I am feeling confident going into this final round,” he concluded.

Josh completes most of this testing at the 2.4km Zwartkops circuit in Pretoria West and whilst the season was set aside as a transition year, he has a strong chance of a good showing on Saturday.

For those unable to attend the event in person, racing will be streamed live on the Global Touring Cars Facebook page and 2WheelsTV YouTube Channel.

Josh is proudly sponsored by Master Stairs, Investchem Chemical Logistics, Vitro Frameless Glass, MS Technic – Sparco Store Africa, New Heights and African Heating.
