2001: South African National Challenge Champion.
2007, 2008 and 2010: Represented SA at the Rok World Karting Finals.
2011: Moving up to Main Circuit Racing in the VW Challenge series. Qualifying pole on my debut and winning my first ever main circuit race by 21 Seconds in the rain at Kyalami.
2013: Tested an ARCA Truck at Midvale Speedway. Ohio,USA
2017: Winning the VW Challenge Class B and Overall Championship.
HOW YOU GOT STARTED IN MOTORSPORT
I started karting when I was 4 years old in the 50cc Cadet Category. My parents took me to go watch a karting race when I was about 3 years old and after a year of nagging and trying to save up any spare change my parents gave me, I finally convinced my father to buy me a kart.

Spa Franchorchamps, Such a classic circuit! Long, flowing and, of course, Eau Rouge.
HOME RACING CIRCUIT & WHAT YOU LOVE ABOUT IT
Zwartkops, it is a very technical circuit and a very spectator friendly facility.
EARLIEST RACING/CAR MEMORIES
Hanging on the fence at only 3 years of age, watching a family friend Ben Morgenrood in his V8, telling my parents that one day I want to race against the best.
SCARIEST RACING INCIDENT
10 years old, rolling my kart in Cape Town during a national event and breaking my collar bone severely.
MOST NOTABLE RACING VICTORIES
In 2004 I started a GP Junior Race in 19th place due to technical issues in quali. After 12 laps I ended up claiming victory in what was definitely one of my hardest fought victories of my career. In 2011 I won on my main circuit debut at Kyalami in the rain.
