Arnold Neveling is determined to dominate the upcoming Global Touring Cars (GTC) SupaCup at Zwartkops Raceway on May 19-20. His sights are set on nothing less than a resounding victory in Round 3 of the championship.
Neveling, backed by GOSCOR Truck Lift Company, had a great start to his 2023 season by finishing third in Round 2, despite missing the season opener at Kyalami. This performance boosted his position in the championship points table, currently ranked sixth. He is therefore aiming to continue his success at Zwartkops Raceway.
Neveling is confident of a solid result, despite having a lot of work to do. The Stradale Motorsport team has made an excellent comeback to the series but is still striving for more. Their main priority is to win the championship, starting with their first victory. They are determined to impress at their home circuit in front of a supportive Pretoria audience.
The first of Saturday’s two races will commence at 12:10 and be contested over 12 laps. Race 2, a 16-lap reverse-grid affair, is scheduled for 15:50. Spectator tickets can be purchased directly from Zwartkops Raceway on the day. The full race programme will be broadcast live on the Global Touring Cars Facebook page and 2WheelsTV YouTube channel.
